Did you know that when we talk about consumption, we refer to any type of substance that ingested by any route of administration (ingested, smoked, inhaled, injected among others) can produce some alteration in the functioning of the central nervous system and these can modify consciousness, mood or thought processes (Ministry of Health of Colombia, 2013).
Now, what type of substance do you consume?
When you go out partying, do you consume or abuse? … On many occasions, when you abuse the consumption of those substances that perhaps went through your mind, you lose control or there is no limit, you could have problems related to your health, social, family, work and even economic environment; as a result of this, other types of problems are linked that would trigger risk situations.

Some risks

For example:
Being Abused or abused, Having health problems (stomach, liver, nervous system), having loss of consciousness, family dysfunction.
Being in an accident or having an accident, intoxication. THE LIMIT IS YOURS!

Recommendations

We recommend that you take into account the following:

  • Be sure to send your location in real time for 8 hours to a person you trust and do not take your vehicle to drive.
  • Go out partying with people who are part of your safe social circles.
  • Set limits under pressure from your friends.
  • Check that the beverage is well sealed, is of good origin, keeps its color and usual temperature.
  • Be aware of who you are receiving liquor or other substances.
  • It is important not to forget about food and hydration during the party.
  • Do not mix
  • Frequent safe places.
  • Avoid visiting or topping off in unfamiliar places.
  • Have enough cash for emergencies.
